  Matt (one of three apparently) came out and did the bid. He was up front from the start that my job was on the smaller side, so the minimum charge would be in effect. He took the time to go over their process on refinishing the floors and explained how water-based poly has really surpassed that of traditional oil based (I did some follow up research). I went with the Bona Traffic HD for all three coats for longevity, and it's looking great. The crew was professional, courteous, on-time, and double checked on the color and finish a few times to ensure everything was correct. They came out looking great, and I didn't have to lift a finger!

  We had our floors in living room and 2 bedrooms refinished in March. The floor was red oak and the color was getting an orange looking color in it. We knew it was not going to be easy to get the color we wanted, but they turned out exactly the way we wanted them to. They did a great job and I was expecting an awful mess from all the sanding they needed to do. I was amazed at what a great job they did with the prep and clean up. Would highly recommend them.

  The owner came for an estimate. He was on time, friendly, and knowledgeable. I got 3 estimates and Luminous Flooring was the best. The quality of the product was excellent. The installers did a great job. They worked hard and they were very courteous as well as being careful with my furniture. The floors look wonderful and I am very happy with the price, the installation and the end result which is beautiful flooring. A great investment and a great choice in the company.

  We recently had Luminous Flooring do an installation of hardwood in our home. From start to finish, Matt and his crew did a fantastic job. The quote was reasonable and provided in a timely manner. Everyone we dealt with (owner, office personnel, installation crew) was professional and respectful. Luminous Flooring did a fantastic job installing the pre finished, oak hardwood we selected. There were a few surprises along the way, which included finding a layer of tile we didn’t know about under the wall-to-wall carpet. Matt’s crew took care of this promptly and did not gouge me on cost for the added work. Great experience!

The buyers were very pleased with the repair and restoration of the original wood floors in University City. A couple of weeks later I had an emergency restoration and repair project come up on a listing and Matt (the owner) saved our deal. They replaced the bad wood with new wood, sanded the existing floors and matched the stain perfectly!
